The community server runs under these rules. They apply to everyone, and moderation is proportional: most cases end with a correction, and serious abuse ends with removal.
The rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats or targeted insults. Beginners are welcome.
- No malware. No pirated software, no stolen keys, and no instructions that put another member's machine or account at risk.
- No spam. No advertising, and no unsolicited promotional messages to other members.
- Protect privacy. Never post anyone's personal information, private support tickets or credentials, including your own.
- Use the right channel, honestly. Post in the channel for the topic and describe technical results as they happened. Do not present a guess as a confirmed diagnosis.
- Feedback is welcome. A review does not have to be positive. Give the context that makes it useful, and keep it about the software rather than the person.
- No impersonation. Do not pose as staff, and do not present an unofficial build as an official release.
- Follow the platform rules. The server also runs under the rules of the platform that hosts it. A breach there is a breach here.
Appeals
Open a ticket on our Discord server and explain what happened. A moderator who was not involved in the decision reviews it.
A community sanction affects the server only. It does not end a software licence and does not create a refund; a refund is assessed under the refunds page.
Never in chat
Never share a licence key, a password, a recovery code or a payment detail in a chat message, a screenshot or a public thread.
No moderator will ask you for one, and no support request needs one. Anyone who asks is not staff.
A diagnostic package belongs in a support ticket, never in a community message.
